Through a Three Year old's eyes...

The last few weeks has certainly shaken the boat a bit. And trying to see it through the eyes of a three year old adds a rather unique perspective.

On the negative side, our dog was run down 2 weeks ago and we had to let him go but then, on the positive side, the early arrival of our new daughter has certainly kept us distracted!

All was cruising along quite nicely, our 3 year old was happily discovering things and asking lots of questions.. then two seismic shocks in less than a week.

Now he is asking a whole pile of questions about life and death, Heaven (or "Kevin") and Whatever is before birth... How you get to these various places, whether you can visit, how do you get back... And teh same questions get asked over and over again so you have to have a pretty consistent explanation otherwise the afore mentioned 3 year old will pick you up like a defense attorney.

I mean it's all quite confusing for an adult, but for a 3 year old's perspective it must be pretty earth shaking. It feels like you'd have to be a cross between a greek philiosper and a pre school teacher to give an adequate explanation. However, being forced to place it in context actually helps you put it in context too...
